Dr. M.J. Willard

Executive Director

M.J. Willard founded NTI in 1995 to help people with severely reduced mobility find home-based jobs. As principal investigator on telework research grants from the U.S. Departments of Education and Labor and the AT&T, Robert Johnson, and Mott Foundations, Dr .Willard has focused on developing practical home-based work solutions for people with disabilities. M.J. has worked with individuals with significant physical disabilities since obtaining her Ed.D in Behavioral Psychology from Boston University in 1978. She is recognized as an authority in the field of telework options for people with disabilities.

Alan Hubbard

Chief Operating Officer

Alan is a 25 year veteran in the technology and contact center space. He has worked at such companies as Hewlett Packard, KANA Software and the Aberdeen Group. Mr. Hubbard also has worked in several startup companies and he has designed, developed and implemented multiple customer care organizations. He has his Bachelors in Information Systems and Masters in Business Administration from Bentley University.

 

Joe Bousquet

Director of Vocational Rehabilitation and Veteran Services

Joe acts as the single point of contact for state and local vocational rehabilitation and Veteran Administration counselors. Joe was NTIís second employee and has worked for NTI for almost 20 years. Over the years Joe has managed nearly every aspect of NTIís business. Before joining NTI he managed a 100-person call center operated by Educational Loan Services. The combination of his extensive call center experience and the fact he is a US veteran gives him a unique set of skills for his role in recruiting vocational rehabilitation and veteran candidates. Joe received his B.A. from Central Connecticut College.

 

Peter O'Leary

Director of Information Technology

Peter has been working at NTI since 1997. Peter manages NTI's corporate IT infrastructure, including the website, internal networking, data management, and technical support. He was also instrumental in developing the company's distance training programs. Peter is also the co-owner of a U.S. business patent US20080275717. Before coming to NTI Peter was a senior IT consultant.

Michelle Simone

Director of Client Services

Michelle works as part of our Client Services team which manages key accounts and contracts. Michelle has worked in the medical transcription industry for over 17 years and has been with NTI since 2005. From 2005 to 2014 Michelle managed NTIís Medical Transcription group. Prior to her work at NTI, Michelle worked at M*Modal (formerly MedQuist) for 8 years as transcription workflow coordinator. Over those years, she has become known for her exemplary customer service with specific attention to client requirements while maintaining strong professional relationships. In her role as Director of Client Services, Michelle will continue to ensure the needs of our clients are being met with a strong focus on customer service.

Rik Moore

Director of Finance

Rik has been working with National Telecommuting Institute, Inc. in various capacities since 2004, including human resources, payroll and finance management. He is currently responsible for managing NTIís accounting and financial responsibilities, payroll services, background check services, and compliance on multiple federal contracts. Prior to working with NTI, Rik worked in the publishing and advertising markets for over five years. He earned a BA in Communication Arts from Allegheny College in Meadville, PA, and is currently pursuing a Masterís degree in Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University.

John Bertram

Director of Operations

John has been working with National Telecommuting Institute, Inc. in various capacities since 1997. He offers over 20 years of management experience. John is currently responsible for managing NTIís LandAjob division. During his tenure at NTI, he has been instrumental in developing corporate processes and creating organizational management relationships. Prior to working with NTI, John worked in the call center arena for twelve years.

Leah Terrasi

Associate Director of Contact Center and Recruiting Services

Leah has been working with National Telecommuting Institute, Inc. in various capacities within the Recruiting Department since 2009. She started as a recruiter and has since led various projects and managed the day-to-day operation of a technical support call center for one of our clients. She earned a BA in Communications from Simmons College and a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Southern New Hampshire University.

John Cozzoli

Associate Director of Training

Entering the computer field in the 1980s, John started as a certified Novell and Microsoft trainer, then moved into training development and management for companies such as CompUSA, Computer Associates, and Canon USA. He has a Bachelors in Psychology and Masters in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. John's first training development involved creating and delivering self-paced, classroom-based, A+ Certification training for out of work, and homeless, students hoping to be placed in IT jobs.

Laurie Silverio

Associate Director of Human Resources

Laurie joined NTI in February 2016 bringing with her over 15 years of Human Resources experience.  Laurie moved quickly from being an individual contributor as a Human Resources Generalist at Hale & Dorr in 2000 to becoming a Human Resources & Recruiting Manager at the French owned ecommerce and catalog company Redcats USA in 2005.  After Redcats was shuttered in 2010, Laurie has worked as an HR Consultant to several companies in and around the Boston area where she worked with Senior Executives to identify the problems within the human resources structure and implement strategies that were cost effective as well as viable long term solutions.  Laurie earned her Bachelors in Politics at Saint Anselm College and is PHR certified.
