Dana discusses RCCA training with NTI

When I received the first phone call from her, I was having a very bad time in slow mode. Most days I was depressed and had no ambition. NTI gave me the chance to seek employment. The first class gave me the first peek of excitement in a year. I started looking forward to the next contact from (my Job Coach). Then, I started getting emails from other NTI departments and my heart and mind found hope again.

I took a couple of classes and I started to realize that I was not done with my life yet. I knew I was on the road to a new stage in my life. You see, a stroke is a very scary thing. It affects your body, mind, heart, and soul, it makes you cry and laugh and want to give up.

One day I got an email that said I need to book a slot with RCCA. I thought maybe this would be like another quick class that I could cruise through and have a little fun. NOPE! It was a real challenge and one of the best experiences I have had in my recovery. When I got the email that said I passed RCCA I felt like I had graduated from Harvard Law. I was so proud of myself.

This company has been such a big part of helping me recover the attention, checking to make sure that I get the emails, making sure that I make my classes if I miss class making sure that I get the next one, the calls to check on my progress. The extra help in classes. If you don't have skills for a certain job, we can learn them free of charge. The instructors move class at everyone’s pace, not just the "fast learner".

If it were possible and an actual thing a person could do, I would give this company a big hug. Thank You NTI for all you do you are truly the Heroes!!!
